Khumbu Glacier Live Web Cam from NCO-P Station, 5079 m altitude. The Nepal Climate Observatory - Pyramid (NCO-P, 27.95 N, 86.82 E) is located at 5079m a.s/l in Sagarmatha National Park, eastern Nepal Himalaya, near the base camp location of Mt. Everest, which is with its 8.848 meters the highest mountain of the world. NCO-P is located at the confluence of the secondary Lobuche valley and the main Khumbu valley, a tributary of the Dudh Koshi valley, a major Ganges tributary. Only small villages are present along the valley: Lobuche, Pheriche, Tyangboche, Namche Bazar, Phakding and Lukla. The closest major urban area is Kathmandu.
