Grand Canyon East, Yavapai Point, Canyon East. Next to Grand Canyon Village. 277 miles (446km) long canyon, 4-18 miles (6-29km) wide, up to 6000 ft (1800m) deep. The canyon was carved in the plateau by the Colorado river during milions of years. This observation point and camera location is 5 hours/280 miles to drive from Las Vegas, where Flagstaff can be also used for near accomodation when travelling in the area.
